a little bit about me:

- I've been playing around on computers since before most of you could talk. come to think of it, I've been playing around on computers since before some of you were /born/. don't MAKE me call you a whippersnapper.

- I am a webgeek / pixel-pusher. my HTML- and CSS-fu is strong. my PHP- and mySQL-fu are not yet as strong, but I'm working on it. someday I will learn Perl, and feel deserving of the 'web programmer' title.

- I was the webmaster for a dot-com that made many millions in '99 and 2000, then hemorrhaged it all away in '01. we were acquired, resold, then jettisoned like a shipful of lepers. no, I'm not bitter. why do you ask? my current employment has me creating soulless corporate biz-ick. any faith I had in mankind has been drowned in a mass of bevels, dropshadows and tacky animated .gifs.

- I am jaded and terminally sarcastic. I can also be funny, charming, and witty when I really want to. stay on my good side, and we'll get along famously.
